Kevin is the Director of Housing, Operations and Development at South Ayrshire Council. He has over 40 years experience in Housing, Civil Engineering, Architecture and Urban Regeneration within Local Government.
Kevin started his career with Strathkelvin District Council Architectural Services and thereafter to East Dunbartonshire Roads and Architectural Services. He spent several years with Raploch Urban Regeneration Company before moving to South Ayrshire Council as Roads Manager and was involved with the formation of Ayrshire Roads Alliance, where he was Head of Service. He is a chartered member of CIOB and CIAT, Associate Member of RICS ,ICE.CABE and a member of CIH and The Society of Construction Law. He is a graduate of Glasgow Caledonian University and the University of Strathclyde. Kevin joined the Board in September 2022. He sits on the Audit, Finance and Risk Management Sub-Committee.
